The last episode of Game of Thrones, which aired on the night of Sunday to Monday, left fans with rather mixed feelings. While many were generally disappointed with this eighth and final season, to the point of asking for it to be rewritten through a petition that was widely shared on social networks, others welcomed the turnaround that allowed young Bran Stark to climb on the throne after the death of Daenerys, who was stabbed by Jon Snow as she was about to take full control of Westeros.

And if someone was happy about this unexpected ending, it's Isaac Hempstead Wright. The 20-year-old actor, who lends his features to young Bran Stark in the series, even thought it was a "joke" when he read the script of this last episode, and realized that his character ended on the throne.
"Is that really what's going to happen?"
"I sincerely believed that the showrunners had sent a different script to all actors with their own character on the throne," he says in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Yeah, good one," he told production before realizing that the script was real: "Oh, sh**... this is really happening?"
"When I received the script and read 'Why not Bran?', I probably paced around the room (...) But I'm happy. However, I wouldn't liked to die and shoot one of those good scenes where your head is blown off or whatever," concluded the actor. We bet some fans share his point of view.
