While the coach was praising Mohamed Salah, author of a hat-trick in the match, an emergency alarm was triggered. A robotic voice then dictated safety instructions. ‘This is an emergency, this part of the building is being evacuated, please leave the building immediately through the nearest exit.’
Not panicked, Jurgen Klopp preferred to laugh at this rather funny situation. ‘That’s a nice sound for a smartphone…’ he quipped before returning to his compliments about his Egyptian striker. As a reminder, Liverpool is leading the Premier League, one point ahead of Manchester City.
