The video is making the rounds of the web. In the town of Teggiano, in the south of Italy, students filmed a particularly shocking scene: in the middle of class, an angry teacher slapped a student who refused to wear a mask in his classroom. As a reminder, wearing a mask is not obligatory in schools in Italy, as long as a distance of three feet can be respected.

‘You're wrong and I'm wrong too’
According to the local media outlet Blitz Quotidiano, the 15-year-old pupil, during a discussion on health measures at school, reportedly refused to wear a mask, and the situation quickly got out of hand.
In the video at the end of the article the teacher can be seen slapping the young man and then grabbing him by the hair and shaking him. The teacher said in front of the class:
You're wrong and I'm wrong too.
Thorough investigation
The teacher didn’t know how right he was. The episode was soon unanimously condemned by the teachers and students of the Pomponio Leto Arts High School, where the scene took place.
And although no complaint has yet been lodged, the Italian Carabinieri, the national gendarmerie, have begun to investigate following the posting of the video on social networks. The Italian media said the aim will be to:
...reconstruct the dynamics of the events’ in order to shed light on the altercation. The professor could be prosecuted for ‘abusing the means of correction.
