Kirill Tereshin has been making headlines for a number of weeks now, due to his outrageously large biceps and triceps which he attained by injecting over three litres of petroleum jelly into his arms ‘Popeye’ was warned by doctors that if he did not have this surgery to remove the dead tissue in his arms, he could be looking at amputation or even possibly death.

A flop on his first MMA fight
Tereshin recently participated in his first MMA fight thinking that somehow, after using petroleum jelly to beef up his arms, this would somehow make him a worthy opponent for guys that have been training in the ring for years.
Needless to say, he lost his fight. In less than three minutes he was forced to tap out. He even tried to take onRussian Slapping Event champion Vasili Kamotski at his own game. The outcome? You guessed it… he was knocked out by the sheer force of the champions open-hand. Looks like fake muscles really don’t get you anywhere.
According to the doctor that removed the dead muscle from his arms, he’s only a quarter of the way through removing all the petroleum jelly Kirill injected himself with.
Concerned about the amount of muscle he would lose, he asked the doctor:
How many muscles have I lost?
Severe damage done to his muscles
After explaining that he was only 25% of the way through the process, he continued on to explain that Kirill had injected himself with so much jelly that it had even spread into the muscle fibres and severely damaged them. They were not able to salvage, let alone separate, the muscle from the jelly, so they were forced to remove both.
What have we learned from this? Maybe it would be better to try and gain muscles the old fashioned way, with a healthy diet and lots of exercise. It's much safer and more sustainable that way.
