The Apprentice 2022 is in full swing, and it’s been great having Lord Sugar back on our screens after two years with no new series. And while series 1 winner Tim Campbell has been doing a stellar job as Lord Sugar’s newest aide, there’s good news if you’ve been missing Claude Littner.

Why isn’t Claude Littner on The Apprentice 2022?
Claude had to sit out of filming for the latest series of The Apprentice, which took place in 2021, due to injuries he sustained in a bike accident in April which would have made filming the show impossible for him. After falling from his bike, his right leg was so badly injured that surgeons feared they may have to amputate it. Thankfully, they managed to save it.
The accident happened near Claude’s home in London while he was ‘pottering along’ on his bike. The 72-year-old businessman told the BBC:
I suspect I hit a pothole or something like that. The next thing I knew I was lying on the ground.
Will Claude Littner return to The Apprentice?
Claude has confirmed via multiple Twitter replies to fans that he plans to be back in the boardroom for the next series of The Apprentice, which is likely to shoot later this year. Most importantly, he has also responded to his many well-wishers saying that he is ‘doing well’ and his recovery is ‘making good progress.’
Meanwhile, Karren Brady and Lord Sugar kept Claude up to date with the goings-on of this year’s candidates with frequent WhatsApp messages and phone calls.
We’re wishing Claude a continued speedy recovery, and we can’t wait to see him back by Lord Sugar’s side in the boardroom next year!
