There are two main reasons why celebs choose to put themselves through the ordeal of appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - for some of them, generally the younger, lesser-known stars it's a chance to jump from Z-list to D-list and boost their career through the exposure the show gives them. For others, it's simply a chance to get a big, fat paycheck for three weeks sitting in a jungle in Australia.

For this reason, the amount the I'm A Celeb cast make varies massively from celeb to celeb. This year, Noel Edmonds - who hasn't even entered the camp yet - is reported to be making a record-breaking £600,000 for appearing on the show, whilst football legend Harry Redknapp is reportedly getting £500,000. Previously the highest-paid celeb contestant was last year's Amir Khan, who was paid £400,000.
