Doctor Sleep, the sequel
As most of you know, the notable horror movie is based on Stephen King’s novel of the same title, The Shining. Since its release, fans begged Stephen King to write another novel about Danny, so King released the sequel, Doctor Sleep. The film came out in 2019, with Ewan McGregor of Trainspotting, playing the role of Danny–all grown up.
What about the actor playing Danny?
We may know the fate of the fictional Danny, but what about the actor who played the little boy? Where did Danny Lloyd disappear to after The Shining? Some strange theories have been going around. The actor once told the Guardian:
I once read that I had six kids and was a pig farmer.
This is of course far from being true. The movie character Danny was played by an actor named Danny Lloyd. He retired from acting at the age of 10 and went on to become a teacher! Pretty cool, right?
