Often unsettling, this technique allows a machine to record and register an objects’ position and movements in order to control a virtual counterpart on a computer. The actors need to use a lot of imagination for this technique so they can really become their characters.
Nowadays, this technique is very common. It was made popular by some of the biggest names such as James Cameron, which allowed lots of his imaginary characters to be brought to life. Because of this technique, their movements and reactions were a lot more realistic.
