Luckily for them, they've got 18 previous series of the show to swot up on and plenty of ex-campmates who are all too keen to share their experiences of the show and pass on a few tips.
One of these is ex-EastEnders actress, Rita Simons, who was a real hit on last year's show - finishing in eighth place behind the likes of Emily Atack, Fleur East and King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp.
Speaking at the Pride Of Britain awards this week, Rita gave some of her thoughts on this year's series, warning contestants: 'When I say be prepared to be hungry I'm not joking. Be prepared to be more hungry than you've ever been in your life.'
Rita said she's hoping to watch some of this year's series on catch-up as she's currently starring in West End show Everyone's Talking About Jamie and doesn't have much time to watch TV.
She says she definitely wants to watch though as she reckons she's got a mate going in: 'I think I know a few people. One of my friends has told me they're not doing it so I'm like, 'Are you lying to me?' So I need to watch it and find out.''
