Long before entering the jungle, Nadine Coyle shot to fame as one fifth of girlband Girls Aloud. Alongside Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding, Nadine was part of one of the UK’s biggest girl groups – but it all ended in 2013 when the group split amid plenty of drama.

At the time, Nadine claimed that her fellow band members were behind the split and that she had wanted to continue the group – but Cheryl furiously shot back in an interview with Attitude magazine saying ‘She's full of sh**. What d'you want us to say? She's full of s***. She was the one who wanted to make a solo record.’
This week, soap star Jacqueline Jossa took advantage of being in the jungle to quiz Nadine about the rumours of a feud between herself and Cheryl. Jac said: ‘I’d heard you didn’t get on with Cheryl...’ to which Nadine simply responded ‘Fake news’ - shutting down the discussion and appearing to deny the rumours.
However, viewers were not so convinced, as they pointed out that Nadine had herself claimed that she wasn’t friends with Cheryl during an appearance on ITV2’s Celebrity Juice just last year. Appearing on Keith Lemon’s show in 2018, Nadine claimed ‘There was no falling out, there was just no friendship to begin with.’
Meanwhile, Nadine also insisted that she loved being part of Girls Aloud, telling fellow campmate Jacqueline that it was ‘Really good, really good, I like being in a girl band. I am one of three sisters and went to an all-girls grammar school so I’m used to being around girls.’ However, she also told Kate Garraway that she preferred hanging out with guys in gay bars than being with her bandmates…
