Jordan revealed during an interview on Radio 1 that he almost walked out during the Viper Vault trial:
So I'm in this coffin full of snakes and I'm screaming: 'Happy place Turf Moor.' I don't know if you know but it took me an hour to get in. I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for Dec. I went off set.
I’m A Celeb 2020–hardest year ever?
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is never a walk in the park–and I’m A Celeb 2020 was perhaps the hardest year ever. Aside from the horror trials, Jordan also spoke about how difficult the experience was as a whole with the series filmed in Wales. He said he and his fellow campmates were ‘freezing,’ ‘starving’ and ‘bored’ as they couldn’t even sunbathe.
Jordan North–last-minute replacement
Although Jordan went on to become one of the most popular campmates this year and finished runner-up to Giovanna Fletcher, he almost never appeared on the show at all. He revealed in his Radio 1 interview that he was drafted in to I’m A Celeb 2020 to replace another celeb who’d dropped out.
He said:
I was last minute. I got a call to say: 'Maybe next year not this year.' Then I got a call two weeks later saying: 'Do you wanna do it? Someone's dropped out. Then I had two days to do everything: medical, photos, psychiatrists et cetera. Forty-eight hours. It very nearly never happened.
