Whilst they weren't always the kindest to each other on the show, Will, Simon, Jay and Neil were about as close mates as any group of lads could be. So imagining that the actors that played them - Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison - don't really like each other in real life is pretty grim. However that's the impression many viewers were left with after the 'Fwends Reunited' special - where it seemed that they didn't want to be there.

James Buckley, who played Jay on the show, took the criticism of the reunion especially personally, tweeting the day after it aired: 'Feeling pretty hated right now. Im sorry to anyone who feels let down with last nights show. Im especially upset as it really is the fans that made the inbetweeners a success, it certainly wasnt me. I might do an explanation video on my YT, or might just leave it & move on #sorry'
Now he's spoken out about the truth behind the reunion episode and revealed what's really going on between him, Simon, Joe and Blake.
