I’m A Celeb 2019 has been confirmed to kick off on Sunday 17th November on ITV at 9 pm, as the channel confirmed the start date of this year’s series last week. Whilst much of the line-up had already been revealed, one huge name has only just been unveiled – and it’s totally unexpected.

ITV has reportedly finally succeeded in signing up Caitlyn Jenner to the show – and they’re hoping that Kylie and Kendall’s father, who was previously married to Kardashian matriarch Kris – will bring in huge viewing figures by spilling the beans about her very famous family during her time in camp.
According to reports, Caitlyn has negotiated one of the largest fees in the history of the show as she’s apparently set to earn £500,000 for her appearance.
Whilst ITV insists that all of the ‘confirmed’ names are ‘speculation’ until they officially announce the line-up, an ITV source has revealed to The Sun that ‘ITV think she is one of their best-ever signings. It’s a real bolt from the blue. They’ve asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right.’
Aside from her connections to the Kardashian’s, 70-year-old Caitlyn Jenner has had a very eventful life which is sure to make her an exciting campmate. As well as Kylie and Kendall, Caitlyn is the biological father to four other children with ex-wives Christie Crownover and Linda Thompson.
She first became famous as an athlete, winning gold in the decathlon in the 1976 Olympics and has been dubbed the ‘world’s most famous transgender woman’ since she came out in 2015. She is currently in a relationship with 23-year-old model Sophia Hutchins, so it doesn’t look like jungle romance is on the cards for her.
