If you think that some of the most famous stars in the world choose to get down and dirty purely for your entertainment, you couldn’t be more wrong. They’re all getting paid rather huge sums of money to be a part of I'm A Celeb, but unlike other reality TV programmes, they’re not all getting the same pay-check. What they earn through the show depends on how famous they are, so the salaries range from anywhere between £30,000 to £500,000, according to Mirror.

The confirmed line-up for the upcoming season has yet to be announced, but this is how much celebrities can expect to get paid based on the reported earnings of contenders from previous seasons.
Highest-paid celebrities
Rumour has it that the celeb who bagged the most money in the 2019 series of I’m A Celeb was Caitlyn Jenner. The retired Olympian, who was on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, was reportedly paid £500,000 to go through all the gruelling challenges in the Australian jungle.
Following Jenner is American footballer Ian Wright, who was paid £400,000.
The pay checks, however, were significantly reduced for contestants in last year’s series. According to The Telegraph, Olympic athlete Mo Farah—who won a gold medal in 2012 and 2016, received £300,000 for his participation.
Vernon Kay, former model and British radio and television presenter, was the second-highest earner in I’m A Celeb 2020, who went home £250,000 richer.
Rumoured line-up for 2021
Due to the pandemic, I’m A Celeb will not be returning to the land down under—instead it will take place inGwrych Castle once again. ITV has still not revealed the exact dates it will be available to watch, but usually the show is aired from mid-November to December every year.
The line-up for this upcoming season is also under wraps, but the rumoured line-up includes Little mix star Jade Thirwall, Liberty Poole—who recently rose up to fame through Love Island, BBC Breakfast show’s Louise Minchin, and another former Love Islander Olivia Attwood.
