It’s certainly not been a smooth run for I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2021 so far. Star campmate Richard Madeley was forced to make an early exit from the show after being hospitalised for dehydration, and this weekend the whole camp was evacuated and the show taken off air for three days due to Storm Arwen.

Could I’m A Celeb 2021 go off air once again?
The campmates are now back in Gwrych Castle and the live shows returned last night (Tuesday 30 November)—but the show may not be out of the woods yet. In an appearance on This Morning, Ant McPartlin warned:
There's a slight worry because I think there's more bad weather coming next week... But it's just temperatures dropping and maybe a bit of snow, a bit of frost. So I think we can cope with that. I mean touch wood, touch wood.
I’m A Celeb return to Australia
The disastrous weather will be yet another reason producers are likely to be keen to return to Australia for the next series if possible. While the first series in Gwrych Castle seemed to be fairly popular with fans last year, this series has seen plummeting viewing figures.
Ahead of this weekend’s unscheduled break, the series was averaging viewing figures of 6.37 million. While this may seem like a lot, last year’s series averaged at 8.4 million and the 2019 series—the last one to take place in Australia—averaged at 10.59 million. In fact, 6.37 million is the lowest the show’s viewing figures have ever been. Will viewing figures pick up in the next couple of weeks?
