As if moving the entire production of I’m A Celeb 2020 from the Australian jungle over to Gwrych Castle in Wales wasn’t enough of a logistical nightmare, show producers may be forced to make even more adjustments to this year’s series as unrelenting heavy winds and rain could make the new camp impossible to live in.

Campmates to move again?
The first ever series of I’m A Celeb in the UK kicked off last night (Sunday 15th November) and saw the ten celebrities–who include ex-EastEnders Shane Richie and Jessica Plummer as well as Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah–settling in to their new home in the castle. But they may have to move again before long.
Whilst producers have had to battle the elements before now, it seems the Welsh weather is posing more of a problem than expected. According to an I’m A Celeb source quoted in The Sun, the show’s team ‘knew it could be wet, but hadn’t really planned for anything like this.'
The crew don’t even want to leave their cabins. It’s completely bleak and we’re having to step up our contingency plans.
I’m A Celeb 2020 contingency plans
Amid fears that the canopy put in place over the main camp may not be enough protection, these contingency plans apparently include an unseen area off-camera where celebs could be taken temporarily for shelter from the wind and rain. In addition to the conditions in camp, the celebs are also expected to be taking part in a lot of outdoor trials, exposing them to the elements even further.

There is no desire for any of them to get sick so no major risks will be taken. If needed they will be temporarily taken out of camp to dry off and shelter. It has already been enough of a challenge to get to this point this year, we don’t need any more challenges.
