Coronavirus put halt to the production and filming of many anticipated movies and television shows this year. But, to make up for it, Disney will be spending the next two years bringing out more of our favouriteStar Wars, Marvel and Pixar content and all of it will be released on Disney+.

A full list of all Disney’s future projects for the next two years has been released as part of the entertainment giant’s Investor Day presentation. And, the show of dedication towards our favourite franchises shows that Disney is just as devoted to making quality television as they are to film.
All of the new projects, including Star Wars, Marveland Pixar content is set to be released to Disney’s streaming platform Disney+ which was released in the UK earlier this year.
What can we look forward to?
The list below show’s exactly what Disney will be working on for the next few years, including spin-off shows and remakes for our most beloved series.
Lucasfilm/ Star Wars
- Ahsoka: This new series is one of two Mandalorian spin-offs, this one focusing on Katee Sackhoff’s character Bo-Katan Kryze
- Rangers of the New Republic:The second of the two Mandalorian spin-offs
- Andor:This Rogue One spin-off will allow audiences to learn more about Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: A series featuring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christiansen.
- The Bad Batch: Set to be an animated spin-off for Clone Wars.
- Star Wars: Visions: An animated short film series set to celebrate the Star Wars franchise.
- Lando: A spin-off focusing on Donald Glover’s Star Wars Character Solo
- The Acolyte: A series that aims to explore the growing power of the dark side during the High Republic era.
- A Droid Story: This series will see long time fan favourites R2D2 and C3PO hit the screens once again alongside a brand new droid.
- Willow: A remake of Ron Howard’s film by the same name.
Marvel
- WandaVision: A series set to focus on the Scarlet Witch and Vision.
- The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: An original series focusing on Sam Wilson played by Anthony Mackie as well as Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes.
- Loki: This highly anticipated new series is set to delve deeper into Tom Hiddleston’s character. And it’s even set to star Owen Wilson.
- What If…?: An animated series exploring both old and new Marvel characters.
- Hawkeye: Jeremy Renner will be handing the role over to Hailee Steinfield who is set to play the part of Kate Bishop.
- She-Hulk: Tatiana Maslaney steps up to take on the female counterpart of the great green giant.
- Moon Knight: A new series that focuses on a new villain who falls victim to disassociative Identity Disorder.
- Secret Invasion: Yet another new series set to revisit Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury alongside Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos.
- Ironheart: This film is set to see Dominique Thorne take on the role of Riri Williams, an inventor who sets out to create the most advanced technology since Iron Man’s suit.
- Armor Wars: Tony Stark’s technology features once again, but this time we’ll see what happens when it falls into the hands of evil.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
- I Am Groot: Groot finally gets the centre stage attention he deserves in a short series about his character.
