In any case, the record for the most hours spent on Steam is held by 'Tuong Do', with 2,075,657 hours of play on Steam (according to Steamladder figures). He beats his nearest competitor by 70,000 hours.
Of course, he hasn't really spent more than 200 years playing video games, especially since his Steam account only dates back to 2012. But the American must still be hooked to his keyboard (or controller) quite often. You can imagine how long he must have played Skyrim to reach 100%.
