During an event organised for the 18th of May 2019 in her hometown of Montreal, the Canadian held the plank position for 4 hours and 20 minutes! So, she destroyed the record set by the Cypriot, Maria Kalimera, by 50 minutes.

Trained by a previous world record holder, Dana Glowacka was fixated on breaking the world record for years. In 2016, the new world record holder held the plank for 2 hours and 5 minutes during the planking world cup in Beijing. 3 years on, Dana Glowacka succeeded in doubling her time to win the title.
Interestingly, it was at the Beijing event in 2016 that her trainer lost her record to a Chinese special forces soldier who had planked for 8 hours. The retired soldier finished 20 minutes before, beating their personal best by 4 hours.
