One of Jason Momoa’s biggest passions is rock climbing. Not only is this hobby perfect for building and refining muscle, but unlike traditional weightlifting, it presents an aspect of mental stimulation through problem-solving.

That’s not to say he doesn’t frequent the gym – he further pushes his body in the weight room preferring to perform “brutal” supersets. Between the two, Momoa has confessed to not be a fan of lifting weights and tends to prefer doing it through means like climbing.
More than a workout - it's a passion
He also advises to always seek the help of a trainer or coach before jumping into an exercise! His last piece of advice concerns diet regime and how to handle guilty pleasures – his motivation for getting through those tough days in the gym:
"This probably isn't good advice, but it works for me. You gotta have both ways. I'm an early riser, I work out really hard, I push myself, I get my job done, and at the end of the day, there's a Guinness waiting for me. I can't stand chocolate. I don't eat sweets, but there's gonna be three Guinness at the end of the day, and it helps me get through. If you're too disciplined, it can mess up your mind. You need to have that treat for yourself. It keeps me really disciplined, and it tastes good too."
We always thought Aquaman would be more partial to water than the drink... but even better for us! So there you have it – if you want a body like Jason Momoa, just follow his wise words: “Find a sensei. Drink Guinness.”
