Opponents face off slapping each other in turn, continuing until one of them surrenders from the pain.

Competitions have been taking place in Russia, often occurring at the Sarychev Power Expo - an event focusing on power sports, patriotism and Russia's strongest men.

The winner of 2018's competition, Yuriy Kuzmin from Nizhny Novgorod, accepted his prize of 25,000 Rubles after enduring hours of slapping.
