We probably don’t need to introduce Daniel Dubois, whose performances in the ring have been incredible and impressing audiences for many years. He was discovered at the young age of 20 after he knocked out AJ Carter in 2017 and since then, Triple D has had a string of spectacular victories against fighters such as Dorian Darch, Razvan Cojanu and even Richard Lartey.

Dubois had his skills properly tested for the first time in July 2019 against his undefeated fellow Brit Nathan Gorman who gave him a hard time during the first 4 rounds. But this didn’t stop him from knocking him out just like all his other opponents in the fifth round and winning his first national belt.

Another victim falls

This time, the 22-year-old English man entered the ring to compete for a Commonwealth heavyweight title belt and an international belt (WBO). Going up against Ebenezer Tetteh from Ghana, who was undefeated in his 19 professional fights, we were all wondering how it would go down.

But it was all over quite quickly. From the very first blow, it was clear Dubois wasn’t going to make it easy for Tetteh, who was starting to waver but didn’t fall. But a minute later, a perfect body hit, then a left and right hook sent the fighter from Ghana to the floor. He got up with some difficulty but went straight back down after he was hit again.

It didn’t take the referee long to stop the massacre, meaning Daniel Dubois’s record sheet will now read 13 wins in just as many fights. Rumours have been floating around about a fight against another British fighter, Joe Joyce. This fighter, who took on Tony Yoka at the Olympic Games in Rio, is ranked a little higher than Dubois on BoxRec and is still undefeated
