Led by McGregor, the group charged the bus but the door was locked. This only caused McGregor to get even angrier and finally lose control. He began throwing objects at the bus, even managing to shatter one of the windows located at the back.
Khabib was left unscathed in the encounter; however other fighters present in the bus weren’t so lucky. Michael Chiesa suffered a head and facial wound and is forced to withdraw from the upcoming event. Ray Borg suffered a similar fate – a piece of glass in the eye has ruined his chances of fighting at UFC 223. Artem Lobov, who participated in the chaos, was taken off the card by Dana White.
Currently, Conor McGregor is in police custody in New York and is being charged with multiple accounts of assault and one count of criminal mischief.
