Trans icon and former olympian world record holder, Caitlyn Jenner, has shook the LGBTQ+ community by opposing trans girls to compete in female sports in a recent interview with TMZ.

'It just isn't fair'
The reality TV star backs up her belief by saying that a boy that is transitioning to become a girl should not be allowed to play in a female sport because this would give that person an unfair physical advantage:
That's why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls' sports in school. It just isn't fair. And we have to protect girls' sports in our schools.
Now, Jenner is receiving backlash from the sports, queer and entertainment communities for not being an ally to the marginalized community. UK Charity that aims to support trans kids called Mermaids said:
Disappointing to hear that Caitlyn Jenner has used her platform and privilege to push back against supporting trans inclusion in sport for trans youth. As someone with a trans history and sporting background she should know the facts.
Called out for hypocrisy
Others are also now calling out the celebrity for hypocrisy after an old video from 2015 has resurfaced in which Jenner gives a lengthy speech supporting trans athletes. It is she says:
All across this country, right now, all across the world, at this very moment, there are young people coming to terms with being transgender, They're learning that they're different, and they are trying to figure out how to handle that, on top of every other problem that a teenager has.
And added:
They're getting bullied, they're getting beaten up, they're getting murdered and they're committing suicide. I also want to acknowledge all the young trans athletes who are out there - given the chance to play sports as who they really are.
