Benjamin Mendy charged with two more counts of rapes in view of his trial

The horizon is getting even darker for Benjamin Mendy. Accused of having committed 4 rapes and a sexual assault on several women, including a minor, the 2018 World Champion has just seen the British justice retain two additional rapes among the charges. The news agency PA Media released this information, which was later relayed by the BBC.

The timing could not be worse for Mendy, who must decide this Thursday 18 November whether to plead guilty or not at his trial, which is scheduled for 24 January 2022.
