Figueirense was leading 3 to 1 when the Ponte Preta striker hit the bar. The ball bounced on the goalkeeper, before making it into the goal box... or not!
The Figueirense goalkeeper, who had to think fast, stopped the ball with his net! Looking at the slow-motion replays, it's clear that there was, in fact, a goal, so the score should have been 3-2.
Unsurprisingly, the Ponte Preta players were furious and argued with the referee for several minutes! Our buddies Jean-Michel Aulas and Jacques-Henri Eyraud would have had a field day with this.
