Kevin Spacey Wishes You A ‘Merry Christmas’ In A Rather Special Video

The video lasts just 59 seconds and in it, you can see Kevin Spacey sat by the fireplace, maliciously staring at the camera.

‘You didn’t really think I was gonna miss the opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas, did you?’ asks the actor, adopting the Southern accent of his former House of Cards character, Frank Underwood.

‘Kill them with kindness’

‘It’s been a pretty good year, and I’m grateful to have my health back. And in light of that, I’ve made some changes in my life and I’d like to invite you to join me,’ he continues mysteriously.

‘As we walk into 2020, I want to cast my vote for more good in this world. Ah yes, I know what you’re thinking. ‘Can he be serious?’ I’m dead serious. And it’s not that hard, trust me. The next time someone does something you don’t like, you can go on the attack, but you can also hold your fire and do the unexpected. You can kill them with kindness.’

It’s impossible to know for sure what Kevin Spacey is actually talking about though. The upcoming American elections? His possible return to the series House of Cards? Because, if you can remember that far back, the actor was actually kicked off the show following multiple accusations of sexual assault filed against him right in the middle of the #MeToo popularity boom

His first surprising video released in 2018

Last year, Spacey released his first, rather strange, a video entitled ‘Let me be Frank’. Just before carving the turkey for Christmas dinner, the actor took some time to look back and reflect on the accusations that had recently been filed against him, asking his fans to be cautious and not judge him and believe everything too hastily.

‘I know what you want. You want me back. Of course, some believed everything and have just been waiting with bated breath to hear me confess it all. They’re just dying to have me declare that everything said is true and that I got what I deserved. Wouldn’t that be easy, if it were all so simple?
