After the announcement, one Twitter fan persued the tech entrepreneur for the baby's name and Elon delivered, with what can only be considered a classic leg-pulling.
That's right, the name Musk teased is X Æ A-12 Musk. However, the seemingly unpronounceable group of symbols is surely not the child's actual name and fans have taken it upon themselves to decipher the code.
Reddit users have speculated that the name is actually a teaser that requires a little thought to reveal his son's name. One user thinks he figured it out:
The name for the ligature Æ is “ash”.. so in the name, it may be pronounced that way… and the Lockheed A-12 was part of the Archangel internal design effort. So maybe they’re thinking: X Ash Archangel Musk.
Along those same lines, another fan has speculated that the baby's name could actually be Sasha as by combining the X and the 'ash' and A could sound just like Sasha:
Put yours together with mine and we get Sasha Archangel?
So, Sasha Archangel Musk? That's one intense name, its safe to say that we wouldn't want to get in the way of this kid. Still, the baby's official name has not yet been disclosed and until it is fans will no doubt keep guessing.
