This is a fight that will certainly be one for the books. Mariusz Pudzianowski and Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch first went up against each other in the ring in 2010 to settle a dispute (as was the fashion at the time).

At the time, Butterbean made fun of the Polish bodybuilder’s technique, claiming that ‘he fights like a girl’. The fight was therefore made to settle this matter by the book.
Mariusz Pudzianowski was already well-known in the world of bodybuilding and after changing disciplines so he could fight in the MMA, defeated Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch by submission after just a few minutes of fighting. Once on the floor, Butterbean and his 200kg were defenceless and couldn’t do anything to counter his opponent.
A logical victory of the Pole that Butterbean couldn’t really justify.
‘I never said he fought like a girl. I said he hit like a girl. His takedown was good. I can’t complain. He won.’
