Madalyn Davis, 21 years old, probably hadn’t heard this advice before. As The Sun reported, on Sunday 12th January, the young woman with 15,000 followers on Instagram slipped and fell from a 100ft cliff in the Diamond Bay Reserve in Sydney. She had gone there to watch the sunrise with her friends and was found a few hours later by the police in the water located at the bottom of the cliff.
Diamond Bay Reserve, a very dramatic place
Did Madalyn Davis go there to take a selfie with the amazing views in the background? As of now, we are unsure, but an enquiry has been opened into the matter.
However, this isn’t the first time that an accident like this has occurred in this very Bay. In August last year, as The Guardian reported, a 27-year-old woman fell off a cliff in the Diamond Bay Reserve while she was taking photos. The area is very steep and rocky, meaning it is quite easy to slip and you really need to be careful when there.
Madalyn Davis, to whom her family recently paid tribute, was a beauty YouTuber who often documented her travels and adventures on Instagram. According to her friends, she was having a ‘really good time’ in Australia.
