Underwater
Getting close to the wreck of the Titanic... That's what private company OceanGate has been offering since June 2018. Picture it: for 7 days, you board the Cyclops 2, the only private submarine in the world built to dive up to 4000 metres. Accommodating up to 5 people, adventurers will be able to approach the wreck of the Titanic for 6 to 9 hours thanks to a 360° camera system. Nevertheless, they'll need a big budget: $ 130,000 dollars, which equates to around £102,050.
Surrounded by scientists
Adventurers will travel from St. John's, Newfoundland in Canada to join a team of "scientists, content experts and underwater mission specialists". The objective of the mission: "to build an objective database to assess wreckage degradation over time and help document and preserve the history of what is submerged". Indeed, in March 2017, the BBC revealed that the wreck of the Titanic was threatened by corrosion and being eaten by bacteria! The wreck could disappear within 20 years.
