I thought we would just do what everybody else did and we would get married and everything would be fine.
But Jacqueline’s messages got more sinister as time went on. One of the messages that she sent, she referred to herself as the ‘new Hitler’ and praised the mass murder of the holocaust as ‘genius.’ Ades was eventually confronted by police as she visited the victim's house. Alerted by the victim who remotely checked his surveillance system at his house, the 31-year-old woman was seen taking a bath in the victim’s bathroom. After the altercation with police she sent more abusive messages:

The last straw was when Ades turned up to the victim’s business claiming to be his wife. The police were subsequently called and she was arrested. During a TV interview in prison, she was asked ‘Are you crazy?’ to which he replied: ‘No. I am the person that discovered love.’
