This photo of a little girl without legs is driving Internet users crazy

This new puzzle posted on Reddit is sure to get your brain working! A user of the forum posted a photo of his little girl. Only, at first sight, it's impossible to see where her legs are.

While many internet users were quick to blame photoshop, the father claimed that the retouching application had nothing to do with this disturbing photo. On Twitter, the photo was reposted, prompting a wave of comments:

This is making my brain hurt... I just can't see it.

A simple explanation

In reality, the little girl is standing next to a low wall that is the same colour as the cobblestones that make up the ground. Her father, the photographer, is standing above her, which gives a low-angle effect. This provides a linear view, and it looks as if everything is on the same plane.

An Internet user modified the colours in the photo to make it more obvious to those who could not see the illusion. Thanks to this, the picture is much clearer and we can see that the little girl is standing next to a low wall and that her legs are in the right place…
