The 69-year-old man from France, is the genius behind an invention that will undoubtedly revolutionise the 21st century. He has, indeed, developed a capsule that will make your farts smell like... lily of the valley. And if you're not much of a lily of valley fan, you can opt for a chocolate, ginger, chlorophyll or violet scent. An ordinary hero whose work will forever be engraved in history books.
The origins of this invention
Poincheval spoke about his incredible invention, as well as the origins of this project:
Ten years ago, I got out of a restaurant in Switzerland. I had eaten great things, but my digestion was dramatic. My stomach was bloated and the odours were unpleasant flatulence-wise, and I thought, 'This can't be, you have to develop a pill that scents farts!'
Let's be honest, here. We've all thought the same thing at one point or another. However, not all of us go as far as following through on our idea and actually developing a pill. Perhaps we should.
How does it work?
The Fart Pill is not considered a drug, but rather a dietary supplement based on natural ingredients. It is the result of lengthy research and has been commercialised since 2007. A capsule is made up of activated charcoal, which naturally traps gas molecules, fennel, lithothamne, a red algae, propolis and blueberries. All these ingredients are known to reduce bloating, gas and stomach pains.
Take 2 to 6 capsules per day at meal times, depending on one's condition, diet and the desired effect. According to the website where you can order the capsules, the pills not only make your fart smell good, but they actually help relieve stomach pains after a hefty meal!
The pills have the usual benefits of our recipe like reducing intestinal gas and bloating.
The pills are certified Kosher and EU Halal. Poincheval has also developed a fart powder for dog because, well... you can understand why.
