A horse ran into a bar. No, it’s not the beginning of a joke, it’s what happened on Monday, the 24th of September, 2019. On the bar’s CCTV footage, you can see that everyone was seating all calm, when a horse charged in, spreading panic.

‘It’s all quite exceptional’
Everyone was fleeing quicklyand the horse knocked off some chairs on his way. Luckily, there were no injuries. The horse came from stables 1km (0,6 miles) from the bar. The horse’s trainer describes the animal’s escape:
‘Between the track and the stables, her rider fell off. The filly escaped by going on to the road, and crossing a roundabout before entering this bar. It is all quite exceptional.’
The filly was found soon after and is back in Chantilly, in very good health. You could say that she’s ready for show jumping.
