In the village of Cornellà del Terri in Spain, however, the Easter celebrations nearly plunged a whole village into mourning. Every year, the Easter ritual is that a tree has to be felled on the main square of the city; a tradition that almost turned into a nightmare, after the tree fell in a different direction, almost crushing the villagers.
Thankfully, the incident caused more fear than it did harm, and had no casualties - but the footage is enough to put a shiver down your spine.
