But the fear and uncertainty of how he would provide for his family did not last long, since this man living in the city of Adelaide has just won the jackpot of a local lottery, netting him a prize of... nearly 2.6 million pounds.
But the lucky man is not going to get all of this money all at once. 'Set for Life,' the lottery he won, will send him a check for AU$20,000 each month over the next 20 years, bringing his total winnings to just under 2.5 million pounds.
And it might be much better for him and his own.
