A very useful tool
Although wearing a face mask has become mandatory almost everywhere (in businesses, on public transportation, on the street), it can make life particularly difficult for people who work certain jobs, like teachers, who have to wear a mask all day while giving classes. It's not exactly easy to make sure your students hear you when you have a piece of cloth or plastic over your mouth.
But there's hope! Angie Madden, a teacher from Georgia, USA, shared a quick tutorial for her colleagues. She recommends wearing a bracket that sits between your face and face mask. In the video, she says:
When you wear it, it keeps your mask off your face, so you can hear me clearly and I’m not breathing my mask in and my mask doesn’t move off my face, and it’s really, really cool. I wore it all day, I didn’t have any issues, I wasn’t taking it off.
Smart!
Not only is it an easy fix, but it's also very cheap! You can buy a bracket like hers for about £7 online. Angie's video went viral and has been viewed more than 300,000 times. Looks like a lot of us needed this hack!
