At first glance of the interiors, this Las Vegas residence might seem like your average, albeit a bit old-fashioned home, however, there's one amazing detail you might not recognize. It's actually built 26-feet below the surface.
A man named Girard B. “Jerry” Henderson who founded a number of companies, built this extravagant underground residence in the 70s after founding a company called Underground World Homes and even had an exhibit at the New York World's Fair where he promoted the concept of living underground. He even lived in his own underground residence until his death in 1983.
