The bigger the nose, the longer the penis
The team in charge of the study analysed the corpses of 126 Japanese men, within three days of dying, and measured several parts of their body. What they found was that men with larger noses also had a longer penis. In fact, those with bigger noses had an average stretched penile length (SPL) of at least 5.3 inches while those with smaller noses had an average SPL of 4.1 inches when erect.
How was the study carried out?
To measure the erect penis as accurately as possible, researchers laid the cadaver out before pulling the penis up as far as it would go. They also took into account the their height, weight, the length of their flaccid penis, its circumference as well as the weight of their testicles. The study ultimately concluded that:
The fact that nose size is related to SPL indicates that penile length may not be determined by age, height or body weight but has already been determined before birth
And although a correlation was found in the size of both body parts, no reason was determined as to why this is. The researches said:
Although our results are useless for forensic purposes, understanding the growing process of the penis or facial features may be very important for extrapolating fetal androgen levels and following male genital functions.
And added:
This study is the first to demonstrate the relationship between SPL and nose size but is limited in Japanese male cadavers, and the reason why SPL and nose size are related is still unclear. Therefore, we consider it an interesting subject to pursue from now on.
