Liz San Millan and her mom gave each other the fright of their lives recently. While the young woman was recording herself rehearsing the song Kindergarten Boyfriend for an upcoming audition, she was suddenly surprised when her mother… fell through the roof. As Buzzfeed News reported after speaking with the singer, the short video was later posted on social media and quickly reached 5 million views.

As you can see in the video at the top of this article, to Liz’s surprise and annoyance, the floor above her was creaking and disturbing her performance. The young woman said to Buzzfeed:
Right before she fell, you can see the irritation in my face due to her banging around while she knew I was filming.
‘She was shocked at first, which is why she didn’t make any noise or move around,’ she laughed.
No harm done
Fortunately, the mother managed to escape without the slightest injury. How exactly did she fall? Liz explained:
There are wooden beams in the attic that you’re supposed to step on, but she tripped and stepped right into my ceiling.
So it seems it was more a shock for the mother and daughter than actual harm and the TikTok video has since accumulated more than 5 million views. We’re not so sure, however, if this sudden media exposure will have helped Liz much in her musical career.
