While she was asleep on the operating table, Ethel Easter, an American from Texas had hidden a mini camera in her hair to film what happened.

Once the operation was over, she was able to watch the video back. And she overheard quite an unpleasant conversation. In the video, we can hear the surgeons talk quite bluntly and make remarks about her weight. And that’s not all. The surgeons also said that the young woman was a ‘handful’.
‘She’s a handful. She had some choice words for us in the clinic when we didn’t book her case in two weeks. That doesn’t seem like the thing to say to the person who’s going to do your surgery,’ are just some of the things that were said in the video.
After watching the footage, Ethel didn’t want to file a complaint, however, she was keen to make people aware of this behaviour by sharing the video. Her goal? To shed some light on the basics of education and manners and address how people should behave in society.
