What is a scrotox?
Scrotox is a non-invasive surgery in which the patient has botox, or botulinum toxin, injected into the sac that holds the testicles. The procedure is done for various purposes, but it started out as a medical procedure that treated pain relief caused by inflammation.
Over time, an increasing number of people found out about other benefits that came with it and they were mostly aesthetic. There is also a claim that scrotox intensifies pleasure during sex, but there are very few studies that have been done to confirm. Furthermore, Healthline reported that a 2018 study on erectile dysfunction also found that a scrotox could be a possible treatment for ED but it their results have not been officially proved either.
Giving your testicles a little something
In 2019, The Sun covered the story of an Australian man who got 55 jabs of botox in his scrotum. The procedure reportedly plumped up his saggy skin, making it look ‘smoother and fuller.’ The man, who goes by the name Sean, said:
I think I felt maybe two little pinches, that was all, and while that was going on Dr Oates and I were talking about sailing. Before I knew it, it was over.
A week later, when I inspected the area, I saw a change. It was less wrinkly and red...fuller and smoother. It definitely looks better.
Although Sean went in to get his marbles polished, his practitioner Dr. Jayson Oates revealed that most of his patients come in for a different reason. He explained:
The most common reason we have guys asking for Scrotox is because their scrotum is tightly contracted, squeezing up on their testicles and it’s painful.
The relaxation of the scrotum helps the testes to hang a bit lower and offers some relief.
