Where and how can we get our hands on this masterpiece meal?
For those who remember, back in 2019, well before COVID days, Pizza Hut and KFC announced the launching of their dreamy collaboration just in time for National Pizza Day. A spokesperson for KFC UK & Ireland mentioned at the time:
Dreams really do come true. Pairing our signature gravy and Popcorn Chicken with Pizza Hut's famous base and toppings is a match made in heaven. Believe us when we say it's a thing of absolute beauty.
Now, the creation, which pairs Pizza Hut’s cheesy pizza and KFC’s iconic popcorn chicken with the addition of delicious sweetcorn and gravy, is back from today and can be ordered through Pizza Hut until the 14th of March.
Amelia Riba, Chief Brand Officer, Pizza Hut UK & Europe announced: ‘We're so happy to be able to put the Pizza Hut's KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza back on the Pizza Hut Delivery menu.’ She continued:
It was overwhelmingly popular with customers last year, so we want to keep delivering them products they love. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do but be quick, it's not around for long!
Senior Brand Manager at KFC UK & Ireland, Hazell White, revealed:
Last year feels like a long time ago, so we're really happy to be bringing this one back! Our incredible Popcorn Chicken on a pizza really does make sense and we can't wait for our fans to enjoy it all over again. This year, we're extra excited to offer a 2-4-1 deal on Boneless Banquets with every purchase, so there's no excuse not to get involved.
Popcorn Chicken Pizza now somewhat of a tradition
Since its introduction in 2019, the Popcorn Chicken pizza has been released for a limited time every February and it looks like this is becoming somewhat of a tradition. Last year the coveted pizza was only around for two weeks but managed to sell out in just two days, leaving the fast-food restaurants to restock and sell out once again.
So, clear your dinner schedule tonight, because if last year taught us anything, it’s that you must get in quick to get your hands on this bad boy.
