Plastic surgeon, Dr Anthony Youn claimed in a TikTok video that the length of a person’s finger can be an indication of the size of their genitals. The revelation has left TikTokkers shocked, with many doubting its veracity.
Citing a study that was carried out at a university hospital in South Korea, Dr Youn explained the correlation between the two lengths. According to him, researchers measured the length of the index and ring fingers of 144 men.
The participants’ flaccid and stretched out penises were then measured as well. The average length of the flaccid penis ranged between 1.6 to 4.7 inches and that of the stretched genitals was between 3 and 6.5 inches, according to Live Science.
The researchers concluded that participants with smaller index fingers were more likely to have a longer penis. While, those with longer index fingers apparently had smaller genitals.

The link between men’s finger ratio and hormone exposure have been espoused for a long time. Studies have found that the ratio between the second and fourth finger is related to sperm count, likelihood of heart attack, hand preference, facial masculinity and more.
Live Science also sourced another study, conducted in 2002, which established a correlation between the length of the index finger and genital size in healthy men under 40, suggesting that testosterone exposure in the womb affects the growth of both.
