Remember Overwatch?
Overwatch is an online shooter marketed on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Lately, the game also became backwards compatible on PS5. Overwatch focuses on cooperation between different classes represented by different characters, each with their own abilities and special features. Overwatch is set in a neo-futuristic world, 30 years after the resolution of a war involving robots and humans called the Omnium Crisis.
The two sides clashed following the reactivation of the Omniums, which launched a massive military campaign against humanity. It was at this time that the Overwatch organisation was created, with the aim of eradicating the threat posed by the insurgent Omniaks.
Charged with second degree murder
Docquen Jovo Watkins is accused of fatally choking his boyfriend, 28-year-old Rory Teasley, following an argument over the game. When authorities arrived at the flat, they reportedly found Teasley unconscious and not breathing. He was officially pronounced dead at the hospital. Watkins is currently being held without bail in the Oakland County Jail on second-degree murder charges. He was scheduled to appear in court on January 18. Sheriff Michael Bouchard declared:
We see far too often across the country these days when people resort to violence over trivial and insignificant disagreementsThere is never a reason where violence is acceptable over a disagreement. Those that do so will be held accountable.
