Naturally, a poor night of sleep came out as the number one reason for a bad mood; it’s almost impossible to have a good day after laying in bed until three am thinking about how you should have been the writer for the final season of Game of Thrones.
Another piece of research - from a lighting company - discusses how lighting and colour can impact your mood (go figure).
A colour psychologist, Karen Haller confirms this notion. She says, “Colour is not just a visual stimulus. Colour influences how we feel, think and behave. We respond to colour and the combination of colours in our environment throughout the day. We don't even realise we are doing it.”
However, some of the other results weren't as normal as a bad night of sleep, and lack of light and colour; if neither of these results relates to you, you may want to check out the video for a list of weirder things that may be impacting your day.
And if nothing in the video above correlates with you, you can at least walk away from this article knowing that colour psychologists exist!
