One 93-year-old's hilarious sign resulted in a huge delivery of beer

Lockdown has been especially hard on theelderlywho can hardly make it outside for groceries. One 93-year-old woman from Pittsburg, Olive Veronesi, was relying on locals to help her get her groceries by putting up signs to bring her what she needs to get by...which definitely includes beer.

One day, Olive made her neighbours aware that she needed some brews by putting up a message in her window saying:

I NEED MORE BEER!!

Olive was photographed with her sign and a can of her preferred beverage and the image went viral. The message was even relayed to Coors Beverage Company and they did not turn a blind eye.

Understanding their responsibility to help those in need Coors decided to pay Veronesi a visit. The company sent out a massive delivery to Olive. Fifteen 10-packs of Coors Light reached the 93- year-old, that's 150 cans of beer.

Not about to waste any more time, Veronesi cracked into a fresh can and exclaimed:

that tastes pretty good..

The woman of few words even updated her sign later that day sharing the good news:

Olive dished to KDKA TV why beer is so important to her daily routine:

I was on my last 12 cans, I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it's good for you, as long as you don't overdo it

So now we know, beer is the true elixir of life.
