67-year-old David Fuller has admitted to having carried out acts of necrophilia—sexual intercourse with corpses—during his time as an electrician for the NHS.

Sexual abuse on the deceased
On top of the sexual abuse charges he is now facing, the man also confessed to having killed two women—Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20—in 1987. Health secretary Sajid Javid described the actions of the sexually deprived man as 'horrific', saying:
My thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims of these horrific acts, as well as all those working in the NHS Trust and wider health service who, like me, will be profoundly shaken by the unspeakable nature of these offences.
And added:
We in government are working closely with the local police force and trust to ensure the families affected get the comprehensive support they need at this time.
'Unimaginable sexual depravity'
Fuller was employed by the NHS for several years giving him access the mortuaries inside the now-closed Kent and Sussex Hospital and the Tunbridge Wells Hospital. He has sexually abused the deceased bodies of both minors and the elderly and has even recorded himself in the act.
When police raided his place of residence, thousands of images as well as video footage were found of the man committing the crime. prosecutor Duncan Atkinson QC told the court expained:
When these hard drives were examined, they were found to contain a library of unimaginable sexual depravity.
And added:
There were both photographs and videos which showed the defendant sexually abusing female corpses in the mortuaries of the two hospitals at which he worked, first the Kent and Sussex Hospital, where he worked full time from 1989, and then the Tunbridge Wells Hospital, to which he moved in 2010.
