The wank pod
Stripchat, an adult website and social network, is offering its workers a 30-minutes paid break to masturbate during working hours. The company, with a staff strength of 200, has gone a step further to design special pods to facilitate the wankathon.
The pods -to appear as large black spheres - will be furnished with tools such as Oculus Quest VR headset and 4K LED screen to watch the X-rated films. All this is to ensure that employees get the best VR masturbatory experience.
The custom pods will also have the basic masturbatory accessories like lube, lotion and tissue. In a blog post announcing the introduction of the wank pod, the company said:
Our team is spending hours using the platform and checking for things to improve and make the lives of our users easier. So, why not elevate our employees' experience with the VIP 'wank pod'? We want it; we got it.
The Cyprus-based company has had over 500 million users visiting its sites monthly in the past two years.

The future of work
Stripchаt also intends leasing out its pods for up to £37,500 for six months, with the option of adding а VIP subscription to the platform.
In May last year, another company in the adult entertainment industry also offered its employees a 30-minutes daily masturbation breaks to help them cope with the agitations brought on by the pandemic. CEO and founder of Erika Lust films said at the time:
With the pandemic and the huge shift in how we live our lives, I began to notice that my employees had become somewhat agitated and were performing with less energy than before. So, knowing that there's only one thing that will make everyone feel good, I've set up a private masturbation station for them to enjoy.
